About Nan Tien Institute

Nan Tien Institute (NTI) is the first Australian educational institution to offer an enlightened and holistic education for the 21st century, in an environment which embraces Buddhist virtues and values. 

 

 

NTI is a non-profit private higher education provider registered and accredited in Australia through the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency. 

 

 

NTI’s vision is to support and inspire learning and the pursuit of research and creative practice, providing the local region with a place to share and exchange western and oriental perspectives of culture and arts. NTI contributes to the advancement and integration of knowledge, culture and ethical understanding.

 

 

The objective is to promote students’ knowledge within a Buddhist framework through studies in the arts, philosophy, science and other areas that have the potential for individual development and global understanding within an inclusive society. This objective encourages and supports both local and overseas students to learn and gain experience in a multicultural environment.
